MSD 6430 6ALN Nascar Aproved High Performance Ignition

Circle Track Racing Ignitions for harsh racing applications such as stock cars, late models, modifieds, road racing, desert and off-road!!

The new 6ALN and 6TN Ignitions were designed with circle track racing in mind and are approved for use by NASCAR. Both ignitions feature MSD's race winning capacitive discharge ignition design and are combined with heavy duty vibration protection.
The year NASCAR added a new rule (20-6.1) requiring all ignitions to have the same 6-pin Weathertight Connector. Both of these ignitions feature the correct connector to form a positive locking and sealed connection.
The cast aluminum housings provide a solid mounting foundation for the circuit board and transformer. For added protection, a two part silicone elastomer encases the circuit board making it impossible for parts to vibrate loose. To top it off, both ignitions are equipped with sturdy vibration mounts.
The 6ALN features a built-in Soft Touch Rev Control.
Ignition will install to points, electronic ignitions and magnetic pickups and are supplied with matching wiring harnesses.

They quickly and completely burn the air/fuel mixture, ensuring higher cylinder pressure and more power. No additional porting is required--GM Performance Parts' cast-ported technology gives these heads maximum performance right out of the box. Not for heavy vehicles (trucks, vans etc.); use Performer EPS #2701.

Every spark delivers 550 V to the coil with 160 mJ of energy. They offer a built-in, three-step rev limiter that provides an rpm limit for burnout, launch, and race rpm. Their multi-step retard provides up to 20 degrees of retard that can be activated in four stages. An rpm-activated switch can activate different circuits, such a shift light or solenoid.
